<p><em>The Regional Head General Election has a campaign stage. Political campaigns as a means of politics, political education with the aim of educating voters to become citizens who have awareness in determining leaders based on rational and emotional behavior. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach and uses data collection techniques, namely interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the research show that the performance management of Lingga Regency BAWASLU has been implemented well but there is still a need to improve BAWASLU's performance further. BAWASLU at the district/city level has a vital role and function in the implementation of Regional Head Elections. BAWASLU must be present as an organ that has a very important role and function in the implementation of Regional Head Elections in all Regency/City areas in Indonesia. In general, the function and role of BAWASLU in implementing regional head elections is to supervise all stages of regional head elections, receive reports of violations of applicable laws and regulations. In general, BAWASLU performance management is intended to organize the process of selecting Regent and Deputy Regent. BAWASLU with all work demands in accordance with its main duties and functions can follow up on campaign violations in any form in the 2020 Lingga Regency Regent and Deputy Regent elections.</em></p>
