JR: Jurnal Responsive Teknik Informatika is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the Research and Community Service Institute (LPPM), Universitas Ibnu Sina. This Publication Ethics statement is based on the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and serves as a guideline for editors, reviewers, authors, and publishers in maintaining the quality, integrity, and credibility of scientific publications.
The journal publishes original research articles, review articles, and case studies in the fields of Computer Science, Informatics Engineering, Information Systems, and Information Technology.
1. Ethical Responsibilities of Editors
Editors are responsible for managing the editorial process fairly, objectively, and professionally.
Editors shall:

2. Ethical Responsibilities of Reviewers
Reviewers assist editors in making editorial decisions and improving manuscript quality.
Reviewers should:

Conduct reviews objectively, fairly, and constructively.

Keep all manuscript information confidential.

Identify relevant published work not cited by the authors.

Report suspected plagiarism or ethical misconduct.

Declare conflicts of interest before accepting a review invitation.

3. Ethical Responsibilities of Authors
Authors must ensure that submitted manuscripts are original and scientifically valid.
Authors are expected to:

4. Ethical Responsibilities of the Publisher
The publisher supports ethical publishing practices by:

5. Research Integrity
Authors must ensure that all research has been conducted responsibly and ethically. Research involving human participants, animals, or sensitive data must comply with applicable ethical standards and institutional regulations.
6. Plagiarism Policy
JR: Jurnal Responsive Teknik Informatika adopts a zero-tolerance policy toward plagiarism.
All manuscripts will be screened using plagiarism detection software before entering the peer-review process.
The journal generally applies the following similarity thresholds:

Maximum Similarity from a Single Source: 5%
Manuscripts exceeding these limits may be returned for revision or rejected at the discretion of the Editorial Board.
7. Duplicate Submission and Redundant Publication
Authors must not submit the same manuscript simultaneously to multiple journals. Duplicate or redundant publication is considered unethical and unacceptable.
8. Conflict of Interest
Authors, editors, and reviewers must disclose any financial, institutional, academic, or personal relationships that could influence the publication process.

When significant errors or ethical issues are identified, the journal will issue:

10. Editorial Decision
The final publication decision rests with the Editor-in-Chief after considering reviewers' recommendations, manuscript quality, originality, scientific contribution, and compliance with the journal's ethical standards.
11. Complaints and Appeals
Authors may appeal editorial decisions by submitting a written explanation supported by scientific evidence. Appeals will be reviewed objectively by the Editorial Board.
12. Copyright and Licensing
Authors retain copyright while granting the journal the right to publish their work. Articles are distributed according to the journal's licensing policy.
13. Ethical Oversight
