PELATIHAN PEMBUATAN SOVENIR BAHAN “FIBER GLASS” DI DAERAH KELURAHAN PATAM LESTARI KECAMATAN SEKUPANG KOTA BATAM

Abstract

In increasing creativity and producing market-worthy products, it is really needed among the people of Batam City as one of the tourist city destinations that is frequently visited. There is a need for competitiveness that will benefit the community later, one of which is skills in creating creative products that have high selling value. Community service program carried out by the Faculty of Engineering, Ibnu Sina University, Batam City. This is done by providing skills in making souvenirs from resin which can be made with various types of accessories with shapes and characteristics of the city of Batam. This training is carried out in the Panam Lestari sub-district, Sekupang sub-district, Batam City. This activity is expected to be useful for increasing the ability of the Sekupang District Community in their ability to explore entrepreneurial potential for the community by adding insight into making souvenirs from resin, introducing and providing training, activities carried out, preparing designs, coordinating with training participants, designing souvenirs, implementing training, methods training in making key chains directly to the community.
